WithWords was born in 2005 when Ann Ward and Sasha Manoli met in a poetry class in Montreal. The two oddly shaped halves quickly formed a lumpy whole and a Small Press baby soon followed. We released our first book in 2006 and have been in love with the book making experience ever since. WithWords is a small discovery chapbook press based in Montreal, and an illegitimate daughter of the Toronto-based LyricalMyrical Press. We strive to publish things we love to read, which tends to be innovative works by both established and emerging Montreal poets and writers.
